The Best of Chicago (8 PM)

The historic Newtown Theatre will present “The Best of Chicago” featuring the Chicago Transit tribute band on Saturday, September 23 at 8 PM.

Chicago Transit is one of the longest running Chicago tributes and the only one with four lead vocalists. The band also includes a three-piece horn section and a five- piece rhythm section. This combination enables the band to cover all of Chicago’s material from the early, horn-dominated classics like “Make Me Smile,” “25 or 6 to 4,” and “Saturday in the Park,” to the later, softer, keyboard-oriented ballads like “If You Leave Me Now.”

Online tickets are $40 per person or $35 for theatre members. Any remaining tickets will be sold for $50 at the door on the day of the show (if available).

All seating is general admission.
