Fun for audiences of all ages! Join us for The Emperor's New Clothes, presented by Family Stages, on Tuesday, July 21 at 11 AM. Doors open at 10:30 AM and the show lasts about an hour.
The Emperor’s New Clothes is Hans Christian Andersen’s delightful treatment of the perils of peer pressure. A vain, foolish emperor declares that he must wear the most exquisite clothes in the world. He sends for fashion designers from every nation, promising a rich reward to whomever provides the most fascinating wardrobe. But a clever trickster pulls the wool over the emperor’s eyes with his “magic” designs.
Two actors play all the roles in this rollicking show. The multi-talented duo uses all their skills to create a total of 11 different characters as they bring the fanciful story to life.
