Illuminated Classical Christmas Concert

The historic Newtown Theatre will present its 4th annual “Illuminated Classical Christmas Concert” on Tuesday, December 17 at 8 PM.

This one-of-a-kind concert will be illuminated by hundreds of elegant white lights and

feature string musicians from the Newtown Chamber Orchestra.

The concert will include well-known classical works such as Overture to Messiah, Canon in D, and Fantasia in Greensleeves as well as some holiday songs of a more popular nature such as Let the Bells Ring, Traditions of Christmas, Faeries (Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairies), and Joy to the World. The night will also include a special-guest narration of ‘Twas the Night Before Christmas with orchestra accompaniment.

Online tickets are $37 per person or $32 for theatre members. Any remaining tickets will be sold for $47 at the door on the night of the show (if available).

All seating is general admission.
