Music in the Shop: Those Looks and PA star

Music in the Shop returns to the Newtown Book & Record Exchange on Friday, May 9.

This series of intimate, in-store concerts is in partnership with the historic Newtown Theatre. Each concert features local musicians or bands playing in the cozy confines of the Book & Record Exchange.

The May 9 concert will feature Those Looks and PA star. Those Looks is a New Hope based band that is making velvety indie dream pop with tinges of grunge, surf and country. PA stars features principal songwriter Erik Hirschmann teaming up with Newtown producer Pete Hall (Leaf & Tree) for an intimate set exploring each other’s songs.

Tickets are $17 per person. Attendees are welcome to bring a beverage, provided it has a cap or lid. No outside food is permitted, but minimally messy snacks will be served.
