A Tribute to Philly's Musical Legends

The Newtown Theatre will present “A Tribute to Philly’s Musical Legends” starring Tommy Cono on Friday, September 5.

This special matinee concert will feature Cono and his band playing songs by Frankie Avalon, Bobby Rydell, Chubby Checker, Len Barry and more. Cono was the protégé of famed singer/entertainer Bobby Rydell. After Rydell’s death, Frankie Avalon continued the relationship with Cono, who has replaced Rydell in the National “Golden Boys of Bandstand” show (Frankie Avalon, Fabian & Tommy Cono).
