Theatre Rock Live: A Celebration of the Best Rock Musicals

The historic Newtown Theatre will present Theatre Rock Live: A Celebration of the Best Rock Musicals on Sunday, March 9.

Part show, part rock concert, “Theatre Rock Live” is a soaring tribute to and celebration of the Broadway rock musicals you know and love, including songs from Hair, Wicked, Pippin, Mean Girls, Hamilton, Jesus Christ Superstar, Jersey Boy, Jagged Little Pill and more!

The group features the rock tenor of Eric Scott Klein (Days Before Tomorrow), the dynamic Olivia Renteria (Mean Girls), and the magical voice of Lawrence Street (Carmen Jones, Urinetown, Mean Girls) fused with the energy of a live rock/pop band that includes Broadway veteran Tony Ventura on bass, virtuoso guitarist Chris Amelar, and the fluid drumming of Matt Maldonado.

Online tickets are $37 per person or $32 for theatre members. Any remaining tickets will be sold for $47 at the door on the day of the show (if available). All seating is general admission.
