A Night of Tom Petty

The historic Newtown Theatre will present “A Night of Tom Petty” on Friday, October 4 at 8 PM. Doors open at 7 PM.

This one-night-only concert will showcase a specially assembled group of local musicians and singers paying tribute to the legendary Petty, who died in October 2017.

The house band will consist of Brad Hinton, Brian Dale Allen Strouse, Daniel Bower, Cory Heller, Alex Luquet, and Thérèse, along with singers Leaf & Tree, Cheap Dates, and Hezekiah Jones.   

Beer and wine will be available for purchase at the theatre before the show and during intermission. 

TICKETS

• Early Bird tickets are $12 per person online (plus service fee) and available from August 18-24
• General Admission tickets are $15 per person (plus service fee) and available from August 25 until the show
• Newtown Theatre members may contact us for a personalized coupon code to make their tickets $10 (plus service fee)
• Any tickets not sold online will be available at the door before the show for $25

Where can I park?

Free parking is available:

1. Along North State Street near the theatre
2. The municipal lot between Washington Ave. and Centre Ave.
3. The municipal lot next to Newtown Borough Hall (23 N. State St.)

What's the refund policy?

All ticket sales are final, no exceptions. You are welcome to pass along your ticket to another person; the name on the ticket does not have to match the attendee's name.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

A mobile or hard copy ticket is fine.

Is the Newtown Theatre wheelchair accessible?

The Newtown Theatre's facility is not fully ADA accessible by today's standards. The theatre will happily make accommodations for any patron with a disability, to the best of our ability.

Can I purchase a particular seat?

All tickets are General Admission. The doors will open an hour before the concert. Seating is first come, first served.

If the concert sells out online, can I still get tickets at the door?

No, we make all tickets available online before concerts, and if those tickets sell out, the show is sold out. No tickets will be sold at the door in this case.
